On Wednesday, 6th May 2026, Cypriot textile designer Michalis Pantelidis presented “Cypriot Silk Stories” during the Opening Cocktail Party of the Cyprus Diaspora Forum 2026 at the Amara Hotel in Limassol.
Celebrating five years of Michalis Pantelidis Studio, the presentation brought together fashion, storytelling, heritage, and contemporary Cypriot identity through a series of silk scarves and garments inspired by personal memories, landscapes, people, and cultural narratives from Cyprus.

Presented in an intimate and emotional atmosphere, the show featured a diverse cast of people who live in Cyprus — different ages, body types, ethnicities, and backgrounds — celebrating the beauty, authenticity, and multicultural spirit of the island and its people.
The silk scarves presented during the show carried stories from across Cyprus. From underwater treasures of Larnaka and memories of the sea, to photographs of abandoned places, pomegranates harvested with the designer’s father, traditional Lefkara embroidery references, doors of old Cypriot homes, and personal moments transformed into wearable art. Each piece reflected the philosophy behind the brand: transforming memories, emotions, and everyday beauty into contemporary textile design.

All silk scarves were manufactured in Greece at Tsiakiris Silk House, combining traditional silk craftsmanship with digital textile storytelling.

The presentation was supported by Tsiakiris Silk House, Larnaka Tourism Board, Larnaka 2030, Nespresso Cyprus, and Print Guru LTD.
