Vassilis Kyprianou, The Organic Farmer

It was back in 2004 when the animal husbandry specialist and later entrepreneur Vassilis Kyprianou decided to establish Riverland Bio Farm, aiming at producing high-quality organic products while also protecting the environment and tending to the welfare of animals. Having achieved all this, his farm also provides an opportunity for visitors of all ages, to get to know the island's fauna and become one with nature. Year after year, his products found their way to the shelves of selected stores in Cyprus and inside consumers’ hearts. Α vast number of organic dairy products are produced in his farm, such as Halloumi cheese, Anari (a type of Mizithra cheese), Yogurt, Kephir, Ayran and fresh organic goat's milk, as well as organic eggs, vegetables and honey. For Vassilis Kyprianou, the shift to organic farming and livestock farming defines a way that leads to a better, more holistic approach in life, via the tranquility of nature and the establishment of a healthier diet.
“My favorite places on the island are the beach of Lara in Akamas, the nature trail in Kalidonia, from Troodos to Platres, Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa and, of course, the beautiful nature that surrounds Riverland Farm”.
