Cyprus is the ideal place for combining various activities into a single day. The island is very family friendly, and there are a multitude of options to entertain children.

 Sparti Rope Park, Platres

 Tucked away in a forest is this impressive aerial activity park with ziplines. Featuring sixty routes with varying degrees of difficulty, it is a great location for fitness and being outdoors. The venue hosts extreme games for the action-oriented, but the area is also ideal for taking relaxing strolls through the greenery of Platres.

 WaterWorld Τhemed Waterpark, Ayia Napa

 This waterpark, the largest of its kind in Europe, dives deep into the ancient mythology of Greece as its trademark. It is home to the massive, aptly-named pool ‘Poseidon’, and features a host of other adventurous, water-themed games– great for all ages!

 CyHerbia Botanical Park & Labyrinth, Avgorou

 Consisting of nine wonderful herb gardens, a hedge maze 2,000 sq.m. and a forest planted in the shape of Cyprus, there is much to explore and do. There’s a store on site that sells all natural herbal products and other traditional Cypriot goodies.

Riverland Bio Farm, Kampia

 This much beloved farm specialises in bio rearing and bio products. Activities for the whole family are available by booking and include climbing, archery, pony riding, shooting, kayaking, and hiking. You can also pitch in with egg picking, grazing, feeding and milking. It is worth taking a closer look at the rearing and production processes.

Pafos Zoo, Peyia

 Featuring an array of tropical birds and large animals such as giraffes, wild boars, white lions and tigers, the zoo is also home to one of the largest collections of parrots and snake species in Europe. Apart from the opportunity to tour the area, visitors can also extend their stay to watch a documentary screening or an owl show.

Thalassa Municipal Museum, Ayia Napa

 Located in the centre of Ayia Napa, the museum presents exhibits detailing the importance of the Mediterranean in the history of Cyprus. With unique features such as glass floor showcases among others, detailing the flora, fauna and archaeological finds in the region, the museum is also home to the lifesize replica of the ancient ship of Kyrenia– this along with an impressive audiovisual experience.

1010 Αsteroskopeion, Nicosia

 Located in the heart of the capital, this observatory features a state-of-the-art, large diameter robotic telescope housed in revolving dome. It’s an ideal venue for stargazing, touring the exhibition area, or sitting in on a lecture on astronomy and astrophysics.

Golden Donkeys Farm, Skarinou

 Located between Larnaka and Limassol is the largest donkey farm on the island. Activities for children include riding donkeys and tasting chocolate made from donkey’s milk. The surrounding scenery is wonderful, and it’s worth visiting the small museums in the area.

 Petrides Farm Park, Marki

 Enjoy outdoor, carefree play and partake in activities such as feeding the farm animals, or engaging in team sports. Located outside Nicosia’s urban centre, the farm combines recreation with education, offering the chance to learn about the animals there and their needs.

 Camel Park, Mazotos

Take the opportunity to enjoy interacting with friendly ponies, deer and ostriches. You can even take a ride on a camel! However, make sure you bring a bag full of carobs; the camels love them. There’s plenty of room to run and play, and make sure to see the mirror room. Visit the museum on the property to learn more about the traditional way of life on Cyprus.
